television and VCR/DVD make the room perfect for cozy nights in.
The Hermitage has a formal dining room with fireplace and a casual
breakfast room surrounded by windows. There is a full kitchen with
range, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. If you'd like to get
out of the kitchen, enjoy your private forest of Door County

The Grand Room of the Hermitage is its defining feature. Its
timber walls reach 25 feet up to the exposed log ceiling above.
Over the past century, the Grand Room has been used for political
meetings, parties, banquets and weddings. Whether you host your own

its warm wood and massive stone fireplace combine with its open
spaces to make an inviting, relaxing room.
This beautiful home is heated and air conditioned, and has a
host of other amenities to make your stay memorable. If you do wish
to leave the grounds of the Hermitage, come to the Shallows Resort
