Release your romantic side at the Studio.   Originally a music studio, this cottage exudes charm from its Door County fieldstone base to its peeled timber ceilings.  Perfect for honeymooners, couples and small groups of dear friends, the Studio is a woodland refuge on 17 acres of forest, yet is a quick trip to modern civilization. 

As you walk in the Studio, your eyes will immediately see the majestic stone fireplace that ascends two stories to the cathedral ceiling.  The living room focuses on this grand hearth, and has a sofa bed and a TV with VCR and satellite television.   An ornate chandelier fills the room with a warm glow.  The first floor also features a kitchen with oven, stove, refrigerator and microwave and a full bath. 

After a cozy fire, climb the spiral staircase to the master bedroom with its king-sized bed.  You and your loved one can drift away to the drowsy chirping of crickets and the whisper of the ceiling fan.

The Studio is located about eight miles north of the Shallows resort, near the village of Fish Creek.  As with all our cottages and houses, you'll have full access to the resort's shoreline, boats, bikes and tennis court.  It is just minutes away from Peninsula State Park and Peninsula Players Theater.  Spend your days exploring the villages of Door County or the trails and beaches of our parks knowing that a beautiful retreat awaits your return.
