BIRD FESTIVAL-BIRDING AT DEATH'S DOOR

Washington Island, 4 1/2 miles off the tip of Door County and across Death's Door Passage, is a place of natural diversity. Here one can find boreal and northern hardwood forests, wetlands and grasslands, cliffs and beaches. Bird life abounds during migration and in the breeding season. The Anderson Barn History Center's 2007 Exhibit is "Bethany Lutheran Church: 1882-2007 - 125 Years of Service and Devotion in Ephraim. This exhibit will feature many of Bethany's founding families, photos, artifacts, maps and stories of the establishment of this charming little church. The reception for this exhibit will be from 3pm to 5pm.
