Hi Bob and Liz:   We had the pleasure of staying at your wonderful resort 7/6 through 7/10/10.  It was a wonderful experience for our entire family.  The resort itself is absolutely beautiful.  We stayed in the Gatehouse and watched the beautiful sunsets every night.  The accommodations were outstanding!!  My son very much enjoyed the pool!  It was nice to have access to the kayaks, canoes, rowboats and bikes right on the grounds.  It felt like our home away from home the minute we arrived.  We're already planning for next year.   Thank you for making our vacation experience so wonderful!!  You have definitely turned us into repeat customers!  Terry, Jo Ellen and Christopher

  Just wanted to thank everyone for the great time we all had at your resort.  The staff was great and very helpful.  The sunsets are great you can certainly tell you are in God's Country at the Shallows.  All ten of us watched the sunsets in the evenings and remarked that each one was different.  We sat around the bonfire one night and had s'mores. I couldn't believe there were no bugs to eat you up.  The kids (all ages) had a great time in the pool.  My son in law's back was bothering him and the whirlpool helped a lot.  Bob you were a great help with the charter fishing and jet skis. 
  Thank you for giving us the best vacation ever.  We will have a lot of great memories for a life time.

I want to thank you for a wonderful stay. The remodeling in The Gatehouse is great.  As in the past, I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay.  The whole staff is friendly and it reflects on the type of clientele you have.
It's nice to visit where everyone, staff and clientele, is friendly and says
hi.  I've been coming to Door County for 15 years and the last 3 at The
Shallows have been the best.  Thanks again for a great stay and I am looking forward to my next visit.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Shallows this year.  This was our
second year staying at the Eagle's Nest and we already reversed it for
next year.  All of the accommodations were perfect and the staff was
ready and willing to help in any way required.  It was great to see
other returning guests.  Our boys enjoyed the many games of night tag
while we enjoyed the S'mores and conversation around the nightly
campfire.  See you next year.

Hi,  We ended our stay at the Shallows today.  We had the top floor of the 
Gatehouses and one unit on the ground level.  We had a great time.   The accomodations were excellent.  Very comfortable, clean and  wonderful.  The view of the lake was stunning.  Bikes, DVD's, tennis,  basketball, grill area, fire pit, pool, hot tub, everything we could  want.  Most of all Sunsets, Sunsets, Sunsets and Quiet.  Thanks for a great time,

On May 20-May 24 we vacationed at your resort ( in # C, at the Beachhouse).  That was the most relaxing time I have had in a long time. Everything about your resort was just perfect.  The beds were so comfortable and the linens on them were soooooo soft.  Even with all the other guests there it was just like we were on an island all by ourselves.  You thought of everything to accommodate your guests.  On the day before we left, I asked at the office if I could build a fire and was told "sure, we will make sure there is wood for you. Well, after a long day of shopping, we came back to the wood already stacked in the firepit and a fire starter log ready to go.

The Beachhouse was so very clean and so neatly furnished, we also had the convenience of renting DVD,s  when we wanted them. Why in the world would anyone want to stay in the noisy resorts on the main streets?
Just wanted to let you know that if I ever get back up that way I will surely be staying at the Shallows.  Thanks again for such a wonderful place to stay.

This is our last day at your fabulous property (for this visit – we are sure to return).  We have trekked most of the lower 48 states during our summer vacations, in addition to extensive business travel to exotic spots and 4 – 5 star resorts.  I cannot say enough about the absolute thoughtfulness to guest comfort in even the smallest detail that you have afforded us in this beautiful and peaceful location.  Everything is immaculate and serviceable, including appliances and dishes.  Your staff is helpful and courteous and very responsive.  Thank you so much for your hospitality.  We will spread the word to our family and friends and look forward to our own return visits.

My daughter and I spent our most enjoyable vacation when we stayed at the Shallows.  We have stayed at 13 different places the past 13 years, and by far, your resort was the best!  We had friendly service from the front desk, as well as the awesome housekeeping staff.  We stayed at the Shallows in June of this year on the Shoreside.  My daughter was having trouble with her Internet service and the Manager helped her take care of the problem.  Talk about fantastic customer service!  Many thanks to all of you,

We had a marvelous time!  So peaceful, beautiful, secluded.  The bike's were a special bonus – Treks even.  Loved the pool & whirlpool with the mist & steam was the best!!  We'll be coming back and telling others what a lovely unspoiled facility you have.  We needed this getaway so much.  Thank you for this perfect place.
